...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TUESDAY MORNING... ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... Wabash River at Riverton, Terre Haute, Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, and Montezuma. .Multiple rounds of rainfall over the past week, totaling at least 2 to 4 inches, has lead to minor lowland flooding along the middle to lower Wabash River. The Wabash will continue to crest at Terre Haute this weekend, with the crest reaching Riverton on Tuesday. Flooding will end at Montezuma Monday and at Riverton by the middle of the week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute. * WHEN...Until late Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, A few sloughs and a drainage have water in them in the vicinity of SR 63 on the west side of the Wabash River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 AM EDT Sunday /12:30 AM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 17.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:30 AM EDT Sunday /12:30 AM CDT Sunday/ was 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 16.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
