...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING FOR NORTHEASTERN LA SALLE COUNTY...

At 1249 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that heavy rainfall had moved out of the area. Up to 3 inches of
rainfall occurred due to earlier thunderstorms near Earlville and
Ottawa. Some streams will likely continue to rise over the next few
hours, and standing water may be slow to recede in some areas.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage ditches,
streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and other poor
drainage areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Ottawa, Marseilles, Sheridan, Seneca, Earlville, Serena, Dayton,
Wedron, Harding, Prairie Center, Norway and Triumph.

occurred so far just north of Streator. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.
