River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Mel Price LD. * WHEN...From Tuesday evening to Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.8 feet, Unprotected farm land begins to flood * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 20.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Tuesday evening to a crest of 21.1 feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
