...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING TO MONDAY MORNING...

...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Henry IL and
Whiteside Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Rock River near Joslin.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning to Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flooding of unprotected agricultural land
occurs. Water also affects Lundeens Landing Campground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 8.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 13.0 feet early Sunday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday
evening.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
