River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...North Fabius River near Ewing. * WHEN...Until Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Left bank begins to flood near Monticello. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 14.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The river rapidly rose above flood stage on the morning of June 11. It crested near 14.3 feet that same afternoon and has held steady since. - Forecast...The river is expected to slowly fall over the coming days, falling below flood stage tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
