...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Johnson
KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and Wyandotte and Missouri,
including the following areas, Bates, Cass, Clay, Henry, Jackson,
Johnson MO, Lafayette, Pettis and Platte.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to develop tonight and
again Saturday evening. A band of 2-4 inches of rainfall is
possible tonight. Area that receive heavy rainfall tonight could
see additional flash flooding concerns with storms Saturday
evening.
