* Flash Flood Warning for...
Kendall County in south central Texas...

* Until 900 AM CDT.

* At 448 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Boerne, Fair Oaks Ranch, Sisterdale, Kreutzberg, Walnut Grove,
Welfare, Waring, Nelson City, Kendalia, Bergheim, Guadalupe River
State Park, Spring Branch and Crown.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 404 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Comfort, Stonewall, Luckenbach, Bankersmith, Grapetown, Old
Tunnel State Park, Blumenthal, Cain City, Rocky Hill, Albert,
