...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Deep South Texas, including the following
areas, Brooks, Cameron Island, Coastal Cameron, Coastal Kenedy,
Coastal Willacy, Inland Cameron, Inland Kenedy, Inland Willacy, Jim
Hogg, Kenedy Island, Northern Hidalgo, Southern Hidalgo, Starr,
Willacy Island and Zapata.

* WHEN...From 1 PM CDT this afternoon through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread heavy rainfall will likely produce totals between 3 to
6 inches with pockets of 8 inches or more possible. Rain rates
may exceed 2 inches per hour at times.
