East Central Walworth County in southeastern Wisconsin... * Until 330 AM CDT. * At 1225 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Elkhorn, Bohners Lake, Browns Lake, Burlington, Springfield, Honey Creek, Abells Corners, Tibbets and Millard. This includes the following streams and drainages... Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1210 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms.
