...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Minor flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be possible * WHERE...Colville River from Umiat to Nuiqsut. * WHEN...Until Friday morning * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying areas due to rapid snowmelt * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - As of Wednesday afternoon rain and snowmelt are causing bankfull water levels along the Colville River. Up to 1.5 inches of rain fell early in the week in the headwaters and rapidly melted the snowpack remaining in the Brooks Range. The rain has ended and the Colville River at Umiat has crested as of Wednesday afternoon.
