...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO TOMORROW MORNING...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

English River at Kalona affecting Washington and Johnson Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...English River at Kalona.

* WHEN...From this morning to tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water begins approaching several county
roads. Agricultural land near the river is flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 15.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.4
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just
after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued bySaturday morning at 830 AM CDT.
