...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Lavaca and Lee.

* WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 635 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Seguin, Cibolo, Gonzales, Luling, La Grange, Schulenburg,
Shiner, Flatonia, Moulton, McQueeney, Nixon, Waelder,
Kingsbury, Smiley, Staples, Fayetteville, Round Top, Cistern,
Palmeto State Park and Muldoon.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
